Barcelona duo Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba were seen betting on the outcome of a Sevilla penalty on Wednesday night.
On Wednesday night Barcelona beat Sevilla 3-0 in the Super Cup 2nd leg, in what looks likely to be Claudio Bravo’s final ever game for the club.
The 33-year-old keeper, who signed for the Catalan giants in 2014, is expected to move to Manchester City to link up with former Barcelona player and manager Pep Guardiola.
Good with his feet, Claudio Bravo suits Pep Guardiola’s tiki-taka style much better than Joe Hart.
Sitting on the bench, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba decided to inject some excitement by betting on Claudio Bravo after Sevilla won a penalty in the 32nd minute.
In Spanish football, cameras are everywhere and anything said between players is usually picked up unless they’re covering their mouths.
Jordi Alba bet his teammate €20 that the Chilean goalkeeper would save the penalty – and he duly did.
