Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to stamp on a Legia Warsaw player

Real Madrids Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to stamp on a Legia Warsaw defender

Cristiano Ronaldo had a frustrating game in Warsaw tonight, failing to get on the score-sheet as Real Madrid could only draw with Polish side Legia Warsaw.

With the game played behind closed doors as punishment for the recent behaviour of Legia’s Ultras, Madrid took an early lead through a Gareth Bale golazo.

But Legia kept themselves in the game, and despite going 2-0 down, managed to claw their way back to take a 3-2 lead, which was finally pegged back to 3-3.

Ronaldo had a host of good chances to score from, but it was one of those frustrating nights for the Portuguese attacker as he completely fluffed his lines.

nd as we’ve seen on previous occasions when things don’t go Ronaldo’s way, it appears as though he may have lashed out in frustration late on in the game.

The pictures may be misleading, and we don’t have any video content to go by for now, but Ronaldo does appear to intentionally stamp on a prone Polish defender.

Or at the very least, Ronaldo didn’t make enough effort to avoid trodding on him…

As can be seen from the picture, the Legia keeper appealed, having seen Ronaldo’s transgression, but the ref ignored his pleas, as no foul or booking was given to Ronaldo.
