Singer turn fashion designer Mocheddah launches her international "MODUPE" collection

Music artiste and designer Mocheddah launched her Mocheddah Clothing line this year and since then she’s been on a roll! Her fast-rising brand already has a strong media presence with the svelte singer as its face.


Mocheddah serves us her international collection ‘MODUPE’ her first name, meaning thankful in Yoruba language. In the collection, she puts a fun twist to our classic Aso Oke and Ankara prints.

She gave each look a traditional praise poetry name “oriki” ASAKE, ABENI, ADUNNI, ANIKE , ADUKE and kept it originally african from her braids to her Gbemisoke shoes.

More than ever african fashion and culture is being celebrated all over the world, I cannot be more proud of where I am from, we are full of life and and so much colour, from our music to our bubbly personalities… this is a tribute to the African spirit.
