Hello Folks, it's that time of the week again, so grab a sit and get ready for some history lesson. This weeks interview of "The Truth" with Olisa Adibua is with none other than Afro beat legend and the original Mr. Shoki himself - Femi Anikulapo-Kuti. In true legendary fashion, Femi takes us back in time as he shares some of his most intimate thoughts about the challenges of growing up as Fela's son, his love for music, family and politics. We've probably not seen a more open, intimate and riveting recountal of his dad, Fela, and what he stood for as an artist and an advocate of the common people. He dished and over dished on this episode that we had to split this episode in two parts.

Comedian AY Makun is taking on Malaria in a new hilarious skit that is a part of the #MalariaFreeNigeria campaign which was started in April 2014.

Kenyan publication Standard Digital said he was arrested at his Nairobi Crown Plaza hotel over the weekend. According to the website, when confronted by the hotel’s staff, things got heated, which led them to calling police. Somehow Victoria Kimani’s name was also in the mix.

“Visiting Nigerian singer Wizkid was arrested from his Nairobi Crown Plaza Hotel room on Saturday afternoon and quizzed by police only hours before his flight back to Lagos.

The arrest was in connection with allegations that he was caught smoking illegal substances. The incident happened at around 1pm just as the Caro singer was checking out of his hotel room where he has been staying for a week, since his last week’s concert.

Before police officers cuffed him and drove him to Capital Hill Police Station where he was quizzed, the hotel had already charged him with 50,000 Kenyan Shillings smoking penalty, which he paid through his credit card.

Coming to his rescue was his newly found Kenyan flame Victoria Kimani, who followed him to the police station shortly after he had been arrested. Victoria had been with the singer at the hotel the previous day. Wizkid was due to leave for Lagos at around 3pm and was forced to cancel the flight due to the drama.”

Neither Wizkid nor Victoria Kimani has responded to the alleged incident.
