Music promoter threatens musician Obesere with law suit

Fuji musician, Abass Akande Obesere fondly referred to as Obesere has landed in hot soup over his bid to do a hip hop song.


A marketer Taofeek Bello Abefe has threatened to slam the musician with a law suit for breach of contract.

The marketer cum promoter accused the lewd singer, who was once enmeshed in a rape controversy, of leaking the video of a hip hop song that features Obesere and Olamide Ebelesua to Youtube contrary to their agreement.

Confirming the report, Obesere’s publicist Gbolahan Adetayo said: “Yes the story is true, but Obesere knows nothing about how the video got on YouTube. Obesere wasn’t the person dealing with the video director, he was only on set with Olamide just to shoot the video and that’s all. We are investigating how it got on YouTube. We will resolve the issue amicably.”
