According to documents which were obtained by E! Jhene Aiko and Dot Da Genius got married on July 26, 2014 and were separated on June 2015.

When news of this got out the soul singer quickly became a topic of discussion on Twitter and was dragged for allegedly seeing rapper Big Sean while she was married.
