Usain Bolt takes 'selfie of the century' after 200m victory

Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt isn't your typical athlete. Eight Olympic gold medals (so far) and a comfortable 200m final win on Thursday night proved just that.

But it isn't just the Jamaican's dominance on the track that makes him one of the world's sporting icons - his unique, fun-loving character before and after races is part of it too.

And the 29-year-old was up to his usual antics once again as he celebrated his historic 200m victory last night - posing for an incredible selfie with members of the crowd just seconds after claiming victory.

Most athletes enjoy lapping up the crowd's adulation after securing an Olympic gold. Usain Bolt, though, always goes one step further.

For these fans, it is a moment they will never forget as they got a unique chance to celebrate with the sport's biggest icon.
