How To Get Rid Of A Stinking Feet

When you visit a friend, you get scared to remove your shoes because, oh boy does it reek like bad eggs down there.

Well here’s a simple trick for freshening your stinky hooves with something you probably use daily which can also be found in your bathroom cabinet.

Step 1
1 cup of Listerine (try using the original gold version if you don’t want to temporarily turn your feet blue black), 2 cups warm water and a foot-soaking tub or big bowl.

Step 2
Combine the Listerine and warm water in the tub and soak your puppies for about 15 to 20 minutes. (If you have any cuts on your feet, you’d be wise to forgo this remedy until they heal. Acid + cut = ouch.) Rinse feet and dry with a towel.

Why it works
Podiatrist Eric Reynolds, DPM, says that Listerine’s combo of benzoic acid and ethanol helps kill bacteria, germs and even the fungi that can lead to athlete’s foot. And hey, if it’s good enough for freshening breath, we say it’s good enough for freshening feet, too.
