Justin Bieber and his new girlfriend split after 6 weeks of dating

Just when we were warming up to the idea of Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie, the couple call their relationship quits six weeks after they were first spotted together.


An insider tells Us Weekly that things started to take a downturn for the couple earlier this month.

Surprisingly, their split comes days after 18-year-old Richie enthused about her  “special relationship” with the 22-year-old “Sorry” singer, to Billboard magazine.

In the interview published on September 8, Sofia who one of Lionel Richie's daughters said:

“Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles."

Bieber and Richie were first spotted together in Laguna beach on August 5, which quickly progressed to PDA-laden vacations in Japan and Tokyo.

Meanwhile, their romantic getaway was plastered all over social media shortly after Beiber deleted his Instagram account following a back and forth between him and ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.


Bieber and Richie were last photographed together in L.A. on August 26.
