Do you guys remember the South African pastor Penuel Mngun that made his congregation do all sorts of weird things? He is going to be probed by religious rights group.
The controversial pastor in the name of religion made some members of his congregation eat snake, soap bars, grass, clothes, hairs and all sorts of weird things you can think of telling them they would taste like chocolate, sometimes he would ride on their backs like a horse.
Just a few days ago, members of the community protested and burnt down the pastor's church. Now he will be facing the wrath of the law should he be found guilty.
"We will by next week formally launch an investigative study that aims to unpack this phenomenon and also address all the concerns and complaints about this matter and other related practices," said Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva, Chairperson of the Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities.
Well, its about time someone did something!!
