Real Madrid slammed for how they left their dressing room at Cultural Leonesa (video)

Real Madrid may have won big on the pitch in their Copa del Rey first leg at Cultural Leonesa but off it they appear to have suffered somewhat of a public relations fail.

Both Marco Asensio and Alvaro Morata scored twice for Zinedine Zidane’s side whilst Nacho scored a stunning goal – perhaps a Puskas Award contender for the sixth in the 7-1 rout.

It is not a huge surprise that Real Madrid picked up such a big scoreline since Cultural Leonesa play in Spain’s Segunda B division – one of the regional leagues in Spain’s third division.

In the aftermath of the match, Real Madrid have been criticised for leaving their dressing room in a pretty poor state.

Madrid-based newspaper Marca managed to get into the dressing room and took footage of the food scraps, energy drinks packages, bandages and dirt left by the richest club in the world.

To be fair to the Real Madrid players, we doubt they ever have to clean up the Bernabeu changing rooms but you suspect they would treat it with a little more respect.
